Wo. Beautiful
it's me Matt..u know i luv ya
Wow...you should add more pictures of yourself.
Abs.
let's settle this right now you are not "vindacated ".
rant to follow:
likewise, i think you need to stop trying to understand your feelings and emotions through socially defined categories, ie. "vindacated". labels are nothing more than a half assed attempt at defining how humans operate or feel. i don't disagree that you may experience some of the symptoms of self-loath at a minor level, but stating some of the things you had mentioned on your blog is not true.
aside from all that, let's get back to labels thing now. there is rarely anything that fits nicely into a label. take, for example MS. one person with it can live a completely different lifestyle, experiencing completely different "symptoms" than another. MS has become a blanket term of sorts. same with alzheimer's. few people actually suffer 100% from it, instead their illness is a combination of other's such as pick's disease. apart from illness, even words such as "lesbian" have no real clear cut 100% fool proof definition. which is why so many "lesbians" feel threatened when they are attracted to a male. "but i am GAY, what is WRONG with me". nothing is, we just haven't thought up of a clever enough definition for you to more easily fit into.
i think i a exude a pretty good example of a self-assured, independent, empowered woman - moreso than many. but would i call myself a feminist? doubt it. why? because there are so many assumptions and misinterpretations that go along with the word. we've tried to explain it more by giving different gradations of feminists their own labels but fuck that. no offense, but many feminists get wrapped up in their label and world of protesting, essay writing, and then when it comes down to their own life and relationships, they fall apart.
ok so where am i going with this? not sure yet.
i don't understand yet the exact reason you insist on labelling yourself these different names, self diagnosing possibilities.
WHY CAN'T YOU JUST [[BE]]. forget this self diagnosing bullshit.
you need to accept and embrace the way you feel and the way your body operates instead of comparing it to or against "the norm" and trying to wiggle yourself into some label which more often than not only makes you (and others around you) worried, unsure.
because abs. you don't need to look far to see all the people that love you for who you are.
skater matt? <3
